About

What is Mounjaro®?

Mounjaro® is the FDA-approved tirzepatide product from Eli Lilly and Company, indicated for type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control alongside diet and exercise. It is sometimes prescribed off-label for weight management at the discretion of a licensed clinician when clinically indicated.

Pallas dispenses Mounjaro® through US-licensed pharmacies on a cash-pay basis. Insurance routing is not currently supported. Eligibility is determined by a licensed clinician based on your intake and clinical history.

Pivotal trial · SURPASS program

In the SURPASS clinical program, tirzepatide demonstrated significant HbA1c reductions across a range of T2D populations.

  • Weeks 5–85 mg once weekly
  • Weeks 9+Increased every 4 weeks as tolerated, up to 15 mg weekly maintenance

Safety

Important safety information

GLP-1 medications can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal discomfort, particularly during dose increases. Rare but serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, kidney injury from dehydration, and — based on animal studies — a possible risk of thyroid C-cell tumors. Patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2) should not use these medications. Always disclose your full medical history to your clinician.
