Dosing

Dosing & schedule

Mounjaro® uses a dose-escalation schedule. Your clinician determines the right starting dose and pace of escalation based on your indication and tolerability.

  • Weeks 1–42.5 mg once weekly — starting dose (non-therapeutic, for tolerability)
  • Weeks 5–85 mg once weekly
  • Weeks 9+Increased every 4 weeks as tolerated, up to 15 mg weekly maintenance

Safety

Important safety information

GLP-1 medications can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal discomfort, particularly during dose increases. Rare but serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, kidney injury from dehydration, and — based on animal studies — a possible risk of thyroid C-cell tumors. Patients with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2) should not use these medications. Always disclose your full medical history to your clinician.

We'll make it right. Pallas includes unlimited customer support — if anything's off with your shipment, or you simply have a question about your treatment, our support team and your care team are a message away, as often as you need, at no extra cost.

Pallas is cash-pay and doesn't bill insurance directly — that keeps your pricing simple and predictable. But because you receive the genuine, FDA-approved product with an itemized receipt, some patients choose to submit a claim to their insurer afterward for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Whether it's reimbursed is up to your individual plan.
